Size run

A size run is the full set of sizes a style is produced in, from the smallest to the largest.

It is also the unit of work that matters commercially. Drafting one size is pattern making; producing the run, verifying every size in it and exporting it in a form the factory can use is the job.

The verification is where the hours go. Every professional we interviewed described exporting each size on its own and re-measuring it after the software had already graded it, because they had learned not to trust the result.
